Acrylic Paint, Salt, and Pastels

This fun and bright painting uses its ecstatic color to draw you in. This painting began with salt being pasted onto the canvas and then bright green was used as the base coat for the canvas and then bright, bubble-gum pink was stroked in areas on the canvas to add the contrast similar to a juicy, delicious watermelon. Pastels in the colors of yellow, bright pink, and light pink were colored on the canvas in different shapes in order to add to the texture aspect of the art.
