On Sunday, June 2nd, the Adult Care Center will host its annual “Welcome Summer Lunch n Bid” fundraiser at the George Washington Hotel in Winchester.
As in the past, there will be both a live and silent auction, delicious BBQ lunch, cash bar, raffles, Sonny Shiley Volunteer of the Year award presentation, and fellowship amongst friends and supporters of the Center.
Did you know that the Adult Care Center had its first fundraising dinner and auction at Braddock Street United Methodist Church in 1995? We opened for full-time operation in the church in February of 1994, so our event is steeped in history; changing locations from time-to-time, but always offering food and fun when asking for your kind support.
If you’ve donated to this event before, and are able to do so again, thank you so much. If this is your first contribution to our program’s annual fundraiser, please know how excited we are for your help.
The Adult Care Center is a private, non-profit Adult Day Health Care with 501-C- 3 status. Your contribution is tax deductible. Please use the attached form to indicate your choice of support, knowing ALL donations go directly to assist our clients who are impacted by diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
