#65 Beautiful Trees

Acrylic Paint, Sand

This delicately warm and peaceful work of art brings out the detail and beauty found in a forest of trees. Red paint was used as the base coat, then light grey was painted at the top of the canvas to add fluffy clouds to the scene. Brown was painted along the ground as trees and trunks, then green was painted as grass and the leaves on the trees to show the different shades and shapes that are found in every tree. Sand was sprinkled along the bottom of the canvas in order to add the texture element to the dirt to really bring nature into this already flourishing work of art.
