This painting evokes a lot of different feelings when you look at it. The green top of the painting resembles the calm before the storm. The grey splotches within the sky show the storm clouds rolling in. You can see the black ocean waves rolling as the wind blows. There is something calming about a beach before a storm moves in that is reflected in this painting.
