Our Mission: To provide quality adult day health care to those with conditions impacting memory and independence.

Our community is growing – and growing older!
The Northern Shenandoah Valley’s senior population is booming. Family migration often puts hundreds or thousands of miles between aging adults and their children and grandchildren, making senior and dependent adult care options a more urgent need than in previous generations.
Since 1993, the Adult Care Center of the NSV, Inc. (“ACC”) has fulfilled its mission of providing quality adult day healthcare to those with conditions impacting memory and independence. As the leading adult care provider from Winchester to West Virginia, Clarke County to Luray, and Warren County to Shenandoah County, the ACC is the main destination for innovative help in caring for adults coping with physical and cognitive challenges that require supervision or assistance.
Over the last 32 years, advances in care and changing community needs have challenged the ACC’s well-used facility, demanding a new space with facilities and services that address vital needs and community demographics. For today and the future, it is imperative that the ACC grow to meet our community needs.
The ACC will be moving to their new location at 509 Amherst Street in December of this year. The center is actively raising funds to complete the buildout of this space that will make this a safe, welcoming home for those we serve.
The ACC is moving our mission forward with our 2025-2026 Mission in Motion capital campaign. Every donation makes a difference. With the support of the local community, the ACC can continue to be a safe and secure setting that fosters compassion and encouragement for both their clients and their families.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we depend on the generosity of community members like you to continue providing critical services. If you are able, please consider donating, your donation can be made using the online methods listed below or mailing it to 411 N. Cameron St., Suite 100, Winchester, VA 22601.
