Jane Bauknecht

I live in Gore, VA with my husband John and daughter Josie. We have two dogs and an indoor cat. We are avid bird feeders in the winter, and enjoy a good-sized garden in the spring and summer. I have been with the Center since the beginning - way back in 1993! I still love being here.

Marilyn Hamilton, RN

  Assistant Director

I became a registered nurse in order to provide nursing care at the Center. I have four children, who are thriving in their different careers.

Dana Ankers, RN

I became a LPN in 1985 and a registered nurse in 2000. I live in Luray with my husband, Steve, a dog and a cat. We have two married children, Julie and David.

I have been at the Center for 12 years. It is an uplifting, happy place to be for me and I know it is for many other people too.

Huei-Yi (Whitney) Lan

I was an elementary school teacher and music teacher for 4 years after I graduated from college in Taiwan. In 2012, I came to the U.S. from Taiwan to earn my Masters Degree. In 2017, I graduated from the Master of Music Therapy program at Shenandoah University. I began working at the Center in 2014 after completing my internship here. I love our participants, for me they are my family! I like traveling, taking challenges, and experiencing new things.

Dawn Clarke

I have been married for 17 years , I have two children and four dogs. Nothing makes me happier than family time!

I have been with the Center for 8 years.

Louise Robinson

  Certified Nursing Assistant

I have been a CNA for 24 years. I am the proud mom of 1 son and grandma to four beautiful grandchildren.

I have been with the Center for four years.

Naoko Itabashi

  Activity Assistant

I was a classical trumpet player after I graduated music college in Japan. I graduated from the Music Therapy Program at SU in 2016 while interning at the Adult Care Center. I began working at the Center in 2017. ACC is my home and the participants are my family here in the U.S.

Dorene Rodriquez

I have been a CNA for 36 years. I have been married for 26 years and have four sons and 11 grandchildren. I love helping people!
I have been with the Center for three years.
