#44 View from the Jungle Floor

This wonderful work of art captures the wild side of the jungle with the vibrant colors that put in a “no worries” kind of mood. This piece started with bright green, light blue, and grey being painted on the canvas with white, dark blue, and glitter green shapes painted over top in order to allow a popping contrast. After, a sharp tool was used to create lines in the dried paint to give the appearance of crackling. This gives the painting character and allows the glitter and paint to seep into the crevices to give subtle shimmer, but only when the light really hits the painting, do you notice this clever work.
